SRINAGAR, FEBRUARY 19: A 2-day book exhibition organized by Directorate of School Education Kashmir concluded at Govt Girls Higher Secondary School Kothibagh in Srinagar today.
Director School Education Kashmir, Kumar Rajeev Ranjan, who had inaugurated the exhibition, stressed the teachers to inculcate the habit of book reading in students. He said efforts are afoot to make libraries and book reading habit a living reality of education in Kashmir. He said the department has entrusted the selection of books to experts of different subjects who have been selected from the educational institutions of the valley.
During the exhibition, 50 book sellers and publishers had set up their stalls which were visited by a large number of students, teachers and general book lovers.
