INAGAR, DECEMBER 15: A 2-day workshop cum seminar on “Beti Bachao Beti Padhao” awareness programme concluded at GGHS School Kothi Bagh today during which various speakers highlighted the importance of saving the girl child.
Organized by Paradise Womens Welfare Society in collaboration with Gandhi Samriti & Darshan Samiti, and Union Ministry of Culture the workshop aimed at sensitizing and orienting the different stakeholders to the issues and challenges pertaining to Women Empowerment and the girl child.
The Workshop was attended by around 150 delegates comprising Educationists, Academicians, Social Activists, Volunteers, Media, Teachers and Students.
During the workshop technical sessions were held highlighting the need to empower the girl child through the medium of Beti Bachao Beti Padhao programme.
