Dr AK Bhandhari Commissioner Secretary to Government Health & Medical Education Department J&K initiated the 2nd round of Pulse Polio at Government Hospital Gandhinagar Jammu on 2nd April 2017. All officers and officials of Health Department including Dr Sameer Matoo Director Family Welfare, Immnization & MCH and also Project Director State AIDS Prevention & Control Society J&K, Dr Madhuri Slathia Medical Supdt Govt Hospital Gandhinagar, Dr AD Singh State Marariologist, Dr Robinder Khajuria CMO Jammu, Dr ADS Manhas Dy CMO Jammu, Dr Chaman Bhasin DHO Jammu, Dr Sanjay Turki DIO Jammu and other officers of Health Department and all officers and officials of Government Hospital Gandhinagar Jammu were present on the occasion.Dr Arun Sharma Dy Medical Superintendent Government Hospital Gandhinagar anchored the stage and welcomed the commissioner secy and other officers followed by address by Dr Sameer Matoo Director Family Welfare, Immnization & MCH and also Project Director State AIDS Prevention & Control Society J&K. Dr AK Bhandhari Commissioner Secretary to Government Health & Medical Education Department J&K in his address informed about the status of polio eradication in the state of J&K and number of booths put in place for all round vaccination of children. Dr Madhuri Slathia Medical Supdt Govt Hospital Gandhinagar presented vote of thanks followed by initiation of polio drops to children.
