Haji Fazal Ahmed passes away

Jammu, Feb 11:Famous religious and social personality of Jammu Haji Fazal Ahmed died yesterday. His Nemaz-e-Jinaza was prayed in his native Village Dhami Bera in Nagrota Tehsil of Jammu District. Soon after the news of the death broke, people started gathering at deceased residence in Dhami Bera village of Nagrota Tehsil where hundreds of people were seen crying endlessly on the death of Haji Fazal Ahmed. Thousand of peoples with tears in thier eyes was present in Namaz-e-Janaza. Haji Fazal Ahmed was also a member of Meelad Committee of Jammu. He was a social welfare person as well. He joined Government Service as Patwari and Retired as Naib Tehsildar. During his life he serve people and did commendable job for spreading message of Islam in J&K especially in Jammu Province. Various social, religious organizations including Gujjar Islahi Committee, Shining Star Society Jammu etc have condoled the demise of Haji Fazal Ahmed. Representatives of different organizations said that Haji Fazal Ahmed was a great man who served the humanity irrespective of cast, creed, religion or sect. The people like him are born in centuries.It is pertinent to mention that Haji Fazal Ahmed had breathed his last on Friday morning after prolong illness at 62 years. People from different walks of life visited deceased house and extended condolences.
