Poonch, May 11: A youth was killed in cross-border firing along the Line of Control (LoC) in Gulpur area of Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir shortly after midnight.
Additional SP Poonch Anwar-ul-Haq said Pakistan Army initiated indiscriminate fire around 12:30 am on the Indian Army posts in Baghal Dhara.
He said the Indian army retaliated effectively.
A youth identified as Mohammad Ikhlaq (22) son of Mohammad Sadiq resident of Kalsan Malti Baghal Dhara received serious injuries and died on the spot, he said.
