KATHUA, FEBRUARY 21: Deputy Commissioner Kathua, Ramesh Kumar today convened a meeting of Collectors to review the progress of different developmental projects in the district.
ADC Kathua Dr Bharat Bhushan, Collector’s (Land Acquisition) of Kathua, Billawar, Bani, Hiranagar Sub Divisions besides other officers were also present in the meeting.
While reviewing the relief compensation cases, DC directed the collectors to display the list of formalities on notice board for the convenience of the concerned people. He directed the officers to speed up the process of identification of such families and process their case with supportive documents required for the claim of the cases.
While taking a detailed review of progress of Land Acquisition cases of National Highway-1 A, DC was apprised that the process of land acquisition in 48 villages is under process. He called for speeding up the process of attestation and disbursement of final award.
He exhorted upon the collectors to expedite the cases under Section 4 of Land Acquisition Act. He also took review of relief cases under SDRF and asked SDM’s to submit the identified cases.
