Srinagar, March 07: Several National Health Mission (NHM) employees were injured on Tuesday after police used water cannons and batons to disperse them at Partap Park in Srinagar.
Earlier, police didn’t allow the employees to continue their protest at Press Enclave and the protesting employees tried to re-assemble at the park.
However, police swung into action and used coloured water cannons and batons to disperse them.
However, the protesting employees didn’t budge and continued their protest.
Police had yesterday also foiled their march towards the Chief Minister’s residence at Gupkar from Lal Chowk here.
