Srinagar, March 07: Vigilance organization arrested Mohsib Tehsil office settlement Litteron Tuesday .The reports said that during investigation of Case FIR No. 10/2011 P/S VOK u/s 5(2) P.C Act Svt 2006 r/w Section 468, 120-B RPC one Ab. Rashid Shah then Mohsib (Nazir) Tehsil office settlement Budgam now (Mohsib Tehsil office settlement Litter Pulwama), got arrested today on 07.03.2017.
The Case was registered after conducting a Joint Surprise Check into the allegations that Mst. Rifat Ara Tehsildar Settlement Budgam and Shri Abdul Rashid Shah then Nazir (Mohsib) in the office of Tehsildar Settlement Budgam, during their posting have entered into a criminal conspiracy and have drawn bills from District Treasury Budgam against the pay/ (20%) settlement allowance bills/double drawls amounts to Rs. 12.00 lacs approximately in respect of the employees posted in the said office or who had been transferred thus by means of manipulation of records/fraudulently during the period w.e.f January-2009 to February-2010 have misappropriated the amount to the tune of Rs. 12.00 approximately.
