Kulgam, March 07: A woman was among few persons injured in clashes which erupted as the government forces were laying a siege to a village in south Kashmir’s Kulgam district on Tuesday.
Local reports said that forces lobbed several teargas shells to disperse the protesters who had gathered in Mohamadpora village to disrupt an anti-militant operation.
A woman was among few persons injured in the forces’ action, they said.
Meanwhile, cordon and search operation has also been launched in Laktipora village of Bijbehara.
