Kashmir, April 06: Most awaited & famous film, “Half Widow” shall break all the records of Kashmir oriented films produced so far and same stands released at various film promotion platforms. The film directed by Los Angeles based Kashmir origin Director Danish Renzu recipient of Best Directors Dada Sahib Film Festival Phalke Award 2018 is most awaited film coming from Kashmir. The film produced by Gaya Bhola & Renzu films also features an emotional song sung by legendary Sonu Nigam. Mir Sarwar is playing role of Khalid who has performed in famous films like recent Kesari and blockbuster Bhajrangi Bhaijaan.
Khalid disappears immediately after his marriage whith Neela and remains untraceable. The protagonist is played by Kashmiri artist Neelofar Hamid recipients of various awards at international level for her performance. The film was required to get Censor Board clearance and clearances from various legal issues. Today, the release of film at promotional platforms at international level will enlarge its reach. The film is all around human and emotional issues which make audience cry overwhelmed by true human emotions. So far it’s trailer was very well received and had a housefuls at its world premiere in New York.
With today’s promotional release at international film festivals and expected film festivals of Tolhouse international film festival at France, San Luis International Festival in California and Indie Meme international film festival at Austin, the film has received not only National but international attention.
In Kashmir various film theater owners and jk Govt is being approached to get film theaters opened at least for the release of this most awaited film for which the people of Kashmir are awaiting to watch.
