Srinagar, Mar 13 : All Jammu and Kashmir Integrated Child Development Services Union (AJKICDSU) on Monday staged protest against the government order wherein ‘junior supervisors have been assigned the charge of Incharge CDPO at different ICDS Projects.
The protesters assembled in the Srinagar’s Press Enclave and chanted slogans against the government. They were demanding immediate revocation of the order.
the delegation of district heads of the union said, “The authorities have issued an order under no 709-SMD of 2017 dated 09-03-2017 whereby junior supervisors have been assigned the charge of I/C CDPO at different ICDS Projects without considering the seniority list issued by the directorate itself vide order No DDK/KMR/ 2017-18/6298-6386 Dated 23-01-2017.”
They said that the authorities have ignored the seniority list for their vested interests. “The order is totally biased as the authorities have ignored the seniority list. Such kind of happenings is putting the stain on the honesty and the dedication of the employees working from past several years,” the protesters said.
Threatening to launch mass protest in case the immediate action is not taken in this regard, the protesters said, “We urge the young, dynamic and dedicated Minister for social welfare to intervene into the matter so that justice is delivered.”
However, the protesting supervisors later dispersed peacefully.
