Jammu, 16 March, 2017: A meeting of District Congress Committee (Urban ) Jammu was held here today at PCC HQ Shaheedi Chowk Jammu under the chairmanship of its President Anil Chopra . The meeting discussed in details the present political scenario of the state. All the participants expressed their concern and deep anguish over the failure of government on all fronts. It miserably failed in providing civic amenities like power, drinking water, ration, besides hike of prices of ration the people are not getting ration and sugar and it looks the government least bother about the problems of people.
Speaking on the occasion Raman Bhalla said that the Government has miserably failed to fulfill any of its promises made during the elections.
District Congress Committee also demanded holding of elections to the Municipal Corporations, Municipal Committees, Town Area Committees, as the elections of these bodies are overdue and it should be held before the elections of Panchayats which are also due.
