New Delhi : The Uttar Pradesh police on Tuesday stopped Congress leaders Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Vadra from entering Meerut citing law and order constraints.
Gandhis were on their way meet five persons who died in Meerut during the protest against Citizenship Amendment Act.

UP police also released videos of December 15 violence in Aligarh Muslim University in which a mass of agitated students is seen pushing one of the campus gates indicating a potentially riotous situation.
