Baramulla ,Firefighters and local population on Sunday night battled against a forest fire that raged on in Bijhama area of Uri in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district, officials said.
They said that the fire was tamed after several hours of hectic efforts today morning.
“Fire is still raging in the area but we have managed to control it to a large extent,” said a local.
