Jammu, Mar 21 In the first of its kind, a special scheme by Prime Minister, Narendra Modi is being launched in the State Jammu and Kashmir, sources said.
The sources informed that under the scheme, about ten shops are being launched in the state involving almost all 10 districts of Kashmir in the first phase.
The reliable sources informed that the scheme provides benefits including drugs at affordable prices free of taxes, quality of medicines ensured through a strict system or quality check.
They said that more than 600 drugs covering almost all therapeutic categories like, antihypertensive, anti diabetics, anti cancer, cardiovascular agents, antibiotics will be available at the store.
Meanwhile, the sources said that the aim of Janaushadhi is to provide effective treatment to all patients at affordable costs
