Mir appeals Govt to expose killers, support his two daughters in studies
Jammu, June 12: Expressing solidarity with the bereaved family members of the Sarpanch killed two days back by unidentified militants in Anantnag, Jammu and Kashmir Apni Party (JKAP) has appealed Government to conduct through investigation into the killing and support his two daughters so that they can continue their studies.
In a press statement issued here on Friday, J&K Apni Party leaders led by senior leaders and Former Minister Ghulam Hassan Mir, met father of the deceased Sarpanch Ajay Pandita Bharti, Dwarika Nath Pandita at Sarwal area in Jammu.
Mir was accompanied senior leaders like Dilawar Mir, Manjit Singh, Vijay Bakaya, and Vikram Malhotra.
The J&K Apni Party leaders have expressed their solidarity with the bereaved family members and prayed for the peace of the departed soul.
Expressing solidarity with the family members, Ghulam Hassan Mir appealed the Government to hold thorough investigation into the killing of the deceased Sarpanch.
“The killing of the Sarpanch was against humanity and democratic values. An attempt was made to hurt brotherhood among communities, but they have failed to create division in a society believes in secular values and respect for all the communities,” Mir said.
The former minister appealed the Government to hold a thorough investigation to expose the culprits responsible for the killing of innocent Sarpanch.
“Two daughters of the deceased Sarpanch should be facilitated with expenses though scholarships by the Government so that they do not suffer,” he demanded.
Mir, while expressing grief over the killing, has assured all possible support to the family members of the victim.
Amandeep Singh, Sonu Verma, and Vaivav Mattoo were among the young leaders who also accompanied the senior leaders of JKAP.
