in the interest of strengthening the Congress party at grass root level, District Congress Committee Jammu (U) has announced the appointment of Block President of gandhi nagar Assembly Constituency on the recommendations of Former Minister Sri Raman Bhalla, Vice President JKPCC.
The orders of appointment were issued by In Charge District President Jammu Urban Yogesh Sawhney, Former Minister and General Secretary JKPCC.
The appointed Presidents for Block Congress Committee are, Yudhvir Singh for Block No. 9, Surinder Singh Dutt for Block 12, Mandeep Singh for Block 10, Amrit Bali for Block 14, Satish Sharma for Block 13, and Jatinder Singh Chib for Block 11.
Sawhney also appointed Senior leaders of District Congress Committee to look after the Day to day Congress Organisation Matters in following Assembly Constituency at Grass Root Level of the party. Dr Ramakant Khajuria and Vijay Singh Chib were Appointed as Incharge Gandhi Nagar Cantonement area, Varinder Singh Manhas and Uttam Singh as Incharge Jammu West , Pawan Dev Singh and Srikant Sharma Incharge for Jammu East; Jyoti Vaid is appointed as In Charge of Women Wing, DCC Jammu Urban ; Madan LaL Malager and Sushant Gupta have been appointed as Office In Charge / Social Media / Programme Coordinator for DCC Jammu Urban.
Sawhney informed the appointees including Block Presidents and In-charges of their duties and responsibilities. The In-charge has been done in order to consolidate public support and bolster it’s functioning at the ground level, in order to reach the locals of Jammu. The Former Minister asked the new members to work extensively to unravel the demands, problems and issues of people in their respective areas, and take actions within their jurisdictions. The appointed in-charge are to further build their teams in different blocks in Jammu. Sawhney encouraged them to support the party and boost its working, and put their sincerest efforts into their assigned jobs.
