    JKAP leader lauds LG led administration for land transfer to higher education department

    Start work on bus terminal on fast track basis: Farooq Andrabi

     

    SRINAGAR, July 14: Jammu and Kashmir Apni Party (JKAP) leader Farooq Andrabi on Tuesday extended gratitude to Lieutenant Governor led administration for transferring the identified land to higher education department for establishment of government degree college at Chadoora in district Budgam.

     In a statement issued here, Andrabi expressed gratefulness to Pandurang K. Pole, the divisional commissioner Kashmir, commissioner secretary higher education, deputy commissioner Budgam, SDM Chadoora, municipal committee Chadoora and the concerned revenue department for doing the necessary formalities for handing over the land to the higher education department which will pave way for construction of the college at an earliest.

    “First of all I am grateful to my party president Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari who as the education minister had sanctioned degree college for Chadoora and now with the transfer of 25 kanals of land to the higher education department the long pending demand of people of Chadoora would be fulfilled,” he added.

     The JKAP leader expressed gratitude to the Lieutenant Governor led administration for paying heed to the demands of people and addressing their sufferings in an effective manner.

     Andrabi appealed to the government to order work on bus terminal Chadoora for which the concerned department has already submitted a detailed project report. “The work on the bus terminal at Chadoora is yet to be started despite a patch of land measuring around 35 Kanals identified by the concerned revenue department and municipal committee Chadoora. I appeal the government to order immediate commencement of work on this prestigious project which will benefit thousands of people in the area,” Andrabi pleaded.
