Congress Party leader joins J&K Apni Party in Jammu
Jammu, July 23: Senior leader from District Congress Committee today joined Jammu and Kashmir Apni Party (JKAP).
In a press statement, the former General Secretary of the District Congress Committee, Gourav Kapoor joined the JKAP in presence of Party President Syed Mohammed Altaf Bukhari. Bukhari welcomed him into the party.
Kapoor said that he wanted to work for the youth and equal development of Jammu along with Kashmir region for which the political parties deprived the people.
“We have to work together with Kashmir to make Jammu and Kashmir a developed state in which educated people get employment opportunities,” said Kapoor.
The former Congress leader said the Jammu youth are in despair in present circumstances and they have high expectations from the JKAP because of its response to the suffering of the people of Jammu and Kashmir.
