Shri Vasuki Naag Kailash Yatra organized by Dharmarth Trust concludes
JAMMU, the Shri Vasuki Naag Ji Kailash Yatra 2020 Bhaderwah organized by the J&K Dharmarth Trust concluded successfully here today. The rituals of Holy Mace were performed in a traditional manner.
In a statement issued here today, Mubarak Singh, President of the Trust expressed gratitude to the District Administration Doda for extending necessary permissions in performing rituals amid COVID-19 precautions.
“I also appreciate the support extended by Additional Deputy Commissioner Bhaderwah for providing all necessary help and coordination of other departments like J&K Police Department for providing security and protection; J&K Forest Department for firewood and Jal Shakti Department for drinking water during the Yatra,” the President said. Kailash Sewa Sangh Trust has arranged Langar at Kailash Kund.
Singh said that with the cooperation and support of administration and people of the area, the Yatra has been successfully concluded. He said that due to restrictions imposed by the government the devotees in large numbers were not allowed to take part in the Yatra, but the Pooja was organized as per the traditions and rituals being performed over the period of decades.
