Udhampur Police solves theft case, stolen property recovered, accused arrested

Udhampur: Based on written complaint from Mohan Singh R/O Ramnagar of theft/ burglary in his shop under the jurisdiction of PS Ramnagar, a case FIR No. 104/2020 U/S 457/380 IPC was registered in the records of PS Ramnagar. A special team of PS Ramnagar headed by SDPO Ramnagar GR Bhardwaj and SHO PS Ramnagar Jaswinder Singh conducted raids in different suspected locations. During raids, some suspects were zeroed in by police and during the sustained interrogation of these suspects, one of them broke down and confessed to the commission of the offence who was arrested on spot.The identity of the accused person was established as Sanjay Kumar S/O Bhagat Ram R/O Basantgarh On the disclosure of accused, all the stolen property like cash 50,000/-, gold ear rings, Mobile, LED etc. amounting approximately Rs. 1 Lac were recovered. With the arrest of this burglars, police succeeded in solving the said theft/burglar case.
