Udhampur: Despite the tall claims of the LG administration over eradicating corruption from J&K, the officers at the helm of affairs compel the common people to pay bribe over one pretext or the other. The reports said that a man who is simply a labourer from profession and hailing from Village Bari (Kulwanta), Tehsil Ramnagar in Distt Udhampur has alleged Naib Tehsildar Kulwanta Anil Kumar of demanding bribes. The reports further said that The said villager was in need of document from the revenue department in order to prepare a Will certificate. After completing the formalities, he was denied needed documents by the Naib Tehsildar only to compel him to offer bribe. While talking to our reporter, he accused the said official of demanding bribe. Besides few other applicants also narrated the same woe to our reporter about the Naib Tehsildar. On contacting Naib Tehsildar Kulwanta he denied the allegations and said that the applicant has never met him.
