INDIAN ARMY INAUGURATED LIBRARY AND DISTRIBUTED PRE RECT BOOKS AND STATIONARY TO LOCALS IN RAJOURI DISTRICT (J&K)
Jammu 21 Sep 2020: In its endeavour to actively pursue measures for the welfare and creation of job opportunities for the youth, Indian Army provided stationery and preparation material for recruitment training to unemployed youth of Thanamandi and nearby areas of Rajouri district (J&K). The aim was to provide employment opportunities to youth of this area, which lack such facilities. A library facility was also established at Youth Engagement Guidance Node, Thanamandi. The library will help youths of region in acquiring requisite basic knowledge of written examination. It will also facilitate enhancement of knowledge besides leading to positive interaction, social development and foster healthy environment amongst the youth coming from far flung and isolated areas of Rajouri. The efforts are being made for better future of local youth of Rajouri district. The pre-recruitment training for the local youth belonging to remote areas of Thanamandi and nearby areas is another step for the upliftment of confidence and trust of locals in Army. The youth by joining the forces will be motivated to play their role as responsible citizens of the Nation. The local populace especially the youth appreciated the efforts put in by the Indian Army to provide the training and were thankful for the support and care provided to them
