ADC Kishtwar Kick-starts works of electrification/repair of high masts lights and street lights for Kishtwar town

who is also having the charge of CEO KDA today kick-started the work of electrification/repair of high masts lights and street lights for Kishtwar town in presence of President Municipal Committee Kishtwar, Riyaz Ahmed Zargar.
Among others who remained present on the occasion were Ward Councillors MC Kishtwar, Accounts Officer, KDA Daleep Rathore, Sanitary Inspector MC Kishtwar, Vinod Kumar besides the staff of Municipal Committee Kishtwar.
ADC Kishtwar congratulated the public of Kishtwar town and stated that these lights are to be installed in order to meet the demands of the problem of lights in kishtwar town.
He added that the replacement of old and dysfunctional lights in the town area by new high masts and street lights should be done expeditiously ahead of winters.
He said more than 110 high masts and street lights have been provided by KDA to MC Kishtwar and will be installed in kishtwar town with an estimated cost of 8.66 Lacs.
Furthermore, he appealed the general public to take care of these lights and properly switch on and off on time.
President Municipal Committee Kishtwar thanked ADC Kishtwar and added that earlier locals and business community were facing issues during late hours in the markets and town, but now there will be a sigh of relief for them in coming days after the installation of High masts and street lights.
