Elderly Woman killed in Anantnag road mishap
Srinagar, Oct 07, KDC: A 68-year-old woman was killed in a road mishap in Brariangan area of Achbal in south Kashmir’s Ananatang district on Wednesday.
An official told news gathering agency Kashmir Dot Com-(KDC) that an elderly woman was critically injured when she was hit by a speedy motorcycle near Brariangan area.
She was immediately shifted to SKIMS soura hospital where doctors declared her brought dead.
The deceased woman was identified as Saja Begum wife of Mohammad Akram Bhat, a resident of Brariangan area.
Meanwhile, A police officer while confirming the incident told KDC that motorcyclist after hitting the woman fled away however, they have registered a case under FIR number 78/2020 under relevant sections of law in this regard and set investigations into motion. (KDC)
