Dry run for COVID vaccination conducted in District Hospital, Udhampur

Udhampur: Dry run for COVID vaccination conducted in District Hospital Udhampur on Friday with the aim to create safe and infection free atmosphere for the general public. In Dry run vaccination programme, 25 beneficiaries from this hospital participated for awaring the general masses about COVID vaccination. Besides, all SOPs & protocols were followed for safe COVID vaccination in this hospital.  Ashok Kumar (KAS), Additional District Development Commissioner Udhampur inaugurated the dry run vaccination programme. Besides K.C. Dogra Chief Medical Officer Udhampur, Dr. Vijay Raina Medical Superintendent District Hospital Udhampur and Dr. Yaseen District Health Officer Udhampur were also inspecting the dry run COVID vaccination programme. Dr. Alok Raina Pediatrician and Dr. Payal Gupta MO were the overall incharge of the entire COVID vaccination programme.
Media persons were also there for covering the entire exercise and for motivating the general public for safe and secure COVID vaccination. The entire exercise was commenced in Cold Chain Box wherein first registration of beneficiaries was done, then vaccination and thereafter they were kept under observation for 30 minutes.  The supporting staff of District Hospital Udhampur also helped for conducting the entire programme in a phased manner. Besides, District Hospital Udhampur also took support from Police Administration to avoid any law and order problem. Moreover, Tariq Shah of NGO Jio Aur Jino Do acted as an influencer for smooth and fair conduct of Dry run exercise of COVID vaccination in District Hospital Udhampur.
