Kasturi Lal Gupta Kick starts Plantation Drive in Latti First sapling of Chinar Planted in Panchayat

Udhampur, 16, Mar, 2021: As part of Chinar Day Celebration Sarpanch Kasturi Lal Gupta planted the first sapling of Chinar in Panchayat Halqa Latti. The Saplings of Chinar were provided by Divisional Forest Office Range Official Dudu to promote Chinar Tree in Jammu Province. On the occasion students of girls Higher Secondary Schools Latti along with Locals took part in this plantation Drive. Sarpanch Kasturi Lal Gupta thanked the Forest Department for taking such an innovative step in the far-flung area of Jammu province. He made Public and students aware about the benefits of Chinar Tree. Sarpanch Stressed upon the people of Jammu Province to Plant Saplings of Chinar in Jammu so that our future generations can be benefited. He told the gathering that Plantation Drives should be our routine exercise during every suitable season so that the danger of global warming can be slowed down. On this occasion many reputed personalities from Administration and senior citizens, youth activists were present, Prominent among them were Mr. Babu Ram Forester, Forest Guard Kaleem, Panchayat Members, Dr. Naveed, Dr. Sahil and many Paramedical staff members were present on the occasion.
