Udhampur Police seized illicit liquor at Village Lehar, Ramnagar

Udhampur: In a major breakthrough in its drive against illicit liquor, Based on a specific information, a team of PS Ramnagar led by Inspector Kulbir Choudhary SHO PS Ramnagar under the supervision of Garu Ram SDPO Ramnagar conducted a raid in the house of Karnu S/O Billo Ram R/O Lehar, Ramnagar and succeeded in recovery of 03 litres illicit desi liquor and around 25 litres Lahan from his possesion and also apprehended accused person namely Karnu S/O Billo Ram R/O Lehar, Ramnagar on spot. The recovered liquor has been seized and Lahan destroyed on the spot.
In this regard, a case under relevant section of law stands registered at Police Station Ramnagar against the said persons and investigation is under progress.
