Anantnag,17-Jan: A resident of Hergam area , who was critically injured in a Road Accident in Shangus area of South Kashmir’s Anantnag District on January 7 , succumbed to his injuries at Sher-I-Kashmir-Institute of Medical Sciences, Soura (SKIMS) on Tuesday morning.
As per reports, 38-year-old Mukhtar Ahmad Kanth son of Wali Mohd kanth resident of Hergam Shangus area of Anantnag was injured in the accident which took place in Old Tehsil Office Shangus Anantnag .
He was immediately rushed to a GMC Anantnag, where doctors referred him to SKIMS Soura Srinagar.
The official said that he succumbed to his injuries today Morning at Soura after showing no Signs of Recovery.
Meanwhile, after completion of medico-legal formalities the body was handed over to the family for last rites.
