PM Modi urges more women to enroll for Mahila Samman Saving Certificate

New Delhi,29-Apr; Prime Minister Narendra Modi has urged more women to enroll for Mahila Samman Saving Certificate (MSSC). In reply to a tweet by Women and Child Development Minister Smriti Irani who has opened an MSSC account at Sansad Marg Post Office, the Prime Minister said that the scheme offers many advantages for our Nari Shakti. She said that MSSC scheme announced in Budget 2023-24 to commemorate ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’ is aimed at enhancing financial inclusion and providing better returns to women. She urged the women and young girls to enroll for MSSC and take benefit of this small savings scheme.
