    Kisan Sampark Abhiyan programme held in Nali Bunjwah

    Nali Bunjwah, 05-June: A Kisan Sampark Abhiyan programme was held in Nali Bunjwah on Monday.
    Celebrating Azadi ka Amrit Mohatsav, under unique initiative launched for the first time in country, Holistic Agriculture Development Program for J&K UT is being implemented with 5013 Cr. approved outlay for next 5 years and for sensitizing farmers about 29 plans to be implemented, Kissan Sampark Abhiyans are being conducted in every Panchayat of the UT in a series of 3 days campaign, from 05th of June 2023 to 07th of June 2023, at a remote Panchayat NALI in Bunjwah Block, organized under Administrative agency of worthy District Development Commissioner Dr Divyansh Yadav and the supervision of Chief Agriculture Officer Amjad Hussain Malik to raise awareness among farmers about the various initiatives and measures undertaken by the government for their benefit.

    The Kisan Sampark Abhiyan programme saw the participation of Sarpanch NALI, Sh. KHALID HUSSAIN SHEIKH and PRIs, about 80 participants including farmers PRIs and resource persons of Agriculture and allied departments participated, in the programme the resource persons of Agriculture and allied departments involving A.V aids and distribution of pamphlet among the farmers and baseline surveys of 44 no. farmers were uploaded online during the three day camp. Ampy Singh BNO HADP Bunjwah, Dr.Saddam HUssain Keen (VAS), Ajay Chander JAEO, Yasir Aftab Mughal (AEA), Khurshid Ahamed (Floriculture) Haji Zulafkar (Sericulture) besides several officials and experts from the agriculture and allied departments who interacted with the huge gathering of farmers and discussed their issues and concerns. The officials highlighted various schemes and programmes launched by the government to support the farming community, such as the Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana, Kisan Credit Card Scheme, and Soil Health Card Scheme, among others.
    The programme focused on raising awareness among farmers about various government schemes, initiatives, and technological advancements in the agricultural and alliedsl sectors.
    Addressing the gathering, the AEO Binoon Bunjwah AMPY SINGH emphasized the government’s commitment to uplifting the agricultural community and ensuring their socio-economic welfare. He highlighted the significance of adopting modern agricultural techniques, including the use of organic fertilizers, advanced irrigation methods, and high-yielding crop varieties.
    The Kishan Sampark Abhiyan programme also featured interactive sessions, where farmers had the opportunity to seek guidance from experts and clarify their doubts related to agriculture and horticulture.
