Fayaz Ahmad Bhat who is the Member National Council BJP & President Srinagar, Kashmir congratulated people of J&K for the tunnel inaugurated by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi today. He said that “It is a matter of great pride for the people of Jammu and Kashmir that this great tunnel is being dedicated to the nation by none other than Prime Minister Narendra Modi – the most popular PM. It is dedicated to the nation in keeping with his call for a new India. Fayaz Bhat said that this tunnel will also reduce the travel time between Jammu and Srinagar by two hours. The distance between Chenani and Nashri will now be 10.9 kms (between two ends of the tunnel), instead of the existing 41 kms. Mr. Bhat called the tunnel is a game changer, It is a revolution itself. It is a revolution to be watched and studied. It is a case study, and a wonderful creation. Technologically, this is one of the most advanced road tunnels built in the country, surmounting challenges of terrain and distance,” he added. While giving compliment to Hon’ble Prime Minister of India Shri Narendra Modi for taking personal interest in J & K State said that now BJP/PDP Government of state under the overall dynamic Leadership and directions of Shri Narendra Modi will ensure all kinds of development and everlasting Peace. He said that Hence Forth as the result of our joint efforts with our joint Ideology no adverse force which are sympathetically towards violence will not exist. He said people of Kashmir have started abhorring violence and anti Indian feelings and now they shall be presented to the world as true citizen of our country.
Fayaz Bhat also appreciated the role Shri N. N Vohra Hon’ble Governor J&K, Nitin Gadkari Hon’ble Minister for Road Transport and Highways, Mehbooba Mufti Hon’ble Chief Minister J&K, Dr. Jintinder Singh Hon’ble Minister for Prime Minister’s Office, Dr. Nirmal Singh Hon’ble Deputy Chief Minister J&K and Shri Sat Sharma President BJP J&K State for making this tunnel successful. At last while congratulating the people of J&K for the ease they are going to feel now Fayaz Bhat said that It is really an proud moment for India and definitely the connectivity saves a lot of fuel and as ell time for travel in between which must be welcomed by one and all, Kudos to the team that worked for the Tunnel and made it possible.
All thanks to our visionary Former PM Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayeeji today Kashmir has another connecting tunnel with rest of India and the world. Mr. Bhat really appreciated his vision and focus on making infrastructure development a top priority in 2002/3 when he visited J&K that today we have this man made wonder to see. People of J&K must feel proud and use this infrastructure well to boost trade and tourism he added. Mr. Bhat hoped that this is a start of many progressive actions to be seen in the future.
