Srinagar: Normal life was affected in Kashmir on Sunday due to a shutdown called by resistance camp against the Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to the state.
Modi is visiting Jammu today to inaugurate the 9.2 km Chenani-Nashri tunnel.
All shops and other business establishments are closed in Srinagar and other district headquarters of the valley. Public transport is also off the roads.
However, educational institutions and government offices are closed because of Sunday.
