    KDP wing of DPAP highlights issues of Displaced People

    Jammu, Sept – 25:KASHMIRI DISPLACED PEOPLE WING (J&K) OF DEMOCRATIC PROGRESSIVE AZAD PARTY HIGHLIGHTS PROBLEMS OF DISPLACED PEOPLE.

    In a joint statement issued by KDPW of DPAP lead by its President Shri Sanjay Dhar, Chairman Shri Piaray Lal Pandita, Roop Krishen Koul Vice President, Gawhar Wani Spokesperson General Secretary Raj Kumar Ticku,Naveen Gosani President Youth Wing,Daizy Dhar President Mahila Wing, Amrita Bhat Vice President Mahila Wing ,Rahul Raina Youth Vice President, Avtar Krishen President Jagti Camp, Anjali Pandita Mahila President Jagti Camp,Ravinder Singh Secretary, Charanjeet Singh Publicity Secretary, Vikas Koul Secretary Shikha Koul Women’s Youth President ,Man Mohan Raina Unit President Purkhoo and many other Leaders have appealed the Govt.of India and J&K U.T.Govt.to prepared and finalize the permanent rehabilitation policy of Kashmiri Displaced People in consultation with the stake holders having faced displacement after 1990,genocide, mostly languishing in Refugee Camps at Jammu and has also appealed that pre-ninety Kashmiri Hindus who have migrated on their own choice are not at all genocide victims but have decorated their platforms to prove well wishers of the displaced community.
    The Leaders have demanded that such a long exiled period of 33 years is beyond our tolerances and Govt.of India must feel what a miserable life is lived by a human creature when uprooted from his birth place due to unwarranted failure of Govt.,as this has and will effect our future generations to loose our identity.
    The Leaders have appealed the Govt.to merge the PM Package employees with U.T.Govt.employees who are already rendering their services to the Valley people which will become a first step towards our resettlement policy,as was the creative aim of introducing the special PM Package during 2008.
    The Leaders have demanded that mere Rs 108/-per soul per day as cash assistance has worsened the daily exiled living of displaced people,which requires enhancement to Rs.250/-per soul per day as this was enhanced during 2018 and since then the rates of essential commodities has touched the sky.
    The Leaders have appealed that old age pension,marriage expenses,social welfare schemes,soft loan schemes and other centrally sponsored schemes,may be implemented to displaced community at par with the other people of U.T. to remove the disparity with our exiled community.
    The Leaders have demanded that special fast track based schemes for employment to our qualified youth,overaged youth,with announcement of a special police employment package with relaxation of norms may be made for exiled people,to remove the step motherly attention towards our Community.
    The Leaders have demanded regularisation of old Quarters accomodation in Purkhoo Camp Phase III, occupied by registered migrants,for availing the facilities at par with other camp people.The Leaders have demanded immediate renovation,repairs of flats,gone in a deliberated condition,even ceapages of Roofing has occured in Jagti and Nagrota camps but to start after getting advance inspection of each building.The Leaders have demanded to release flour to the migrant relief holders stopped since last five months without any reason.
