Bhadarwah, Dec 15: To aware people especially women folk about various schemes launched by state government, People’s Democratic Party (PDP) District Unit Doda organized a meeting at village Sungli of Bhadarwah Constituency on Thursday.
The meeting was organized under the chairmanship of PDP District President of Women Wing Doda Nighat Choudhry in which large number of villagers participated and put forth their various demands and grievances.
She listened their all demands/grievances patiently and assured them early redressal of the same.
While addressing the gathering Women Wing District President highlighted the achievements of Coalition Government headed by Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti and the measures taken to empower the poor people especially women.
She urged upon women to take benefit from the several govt. schemes launched by CM Mehbooba Mufti including Sukanya, Beti Padhavo Beti Bachavo, Ujwalla and others.
“The Coalition Government is committed to fulfill all the promises made to the people of the state and provide all basic facilities to them,” said Nighat Choudhry.
Choudhry sought support of people in further pushing forward developmental tempo in the State and appealed the people to strengthen the hands of Mehbooba Mufti. She also urged upon the people to be united for betterment of the masses and society as well.
