New Delhi, July 12: Aadhaar has been in news for quite some time. While the government is taking coercive steps for people to get their Aadhaar card made, they are also running promotional events as well. A national newspaper has reported that an Aadhar related story-telling competition can get you cash rewards up to Rs 50,000. To take part in the competition, your Aadhaar card should be linked to your bank account. UIDAI has started the competition. It informed on its Twitter handle. In it, people will have to send stories related to Aadhaar and can win from Rs 5 to Rs 20,000. If it is a video story, a person can win from Rs 20 to Rs 50,000. This competition has been on since Monday.
The competition named ‘Aadhaar Hai To Aasaani Hai’ has started fromJuly 10. Entries can be sent till August 8 midnight. Only online entry can be sent. Stories related to Aadhaar card will have at least 200 words–the upper limit is 500 words. The stories can be sent in Microsoft Word, PDF, or blog link format. The stories or experiences should be written in either Hindi or English.
According to Dainik Bhaskar, the interested candidate will also have to furnish their details like Aadhaar number, name, address, bank account details.Top 5 stories will be awarded Rs 20,000. 20 stories will get a cash prize of Rs 5000 each. The results will be declared on September 7.
