He was accompanied by Director Horticulture Jammu Bhawani Rakwal, Coordinator, Centre of Excellence SKUAST-J, Dr V K Wali, Head ACHR Udheywalla Dr Parshant Bakshi, Chief Horticulture Officer, Jammu Y K Kesar and other officers of the department.
Hessen during his visit to Government Fruit Plant nursery Ghari, Mishriwalla suggested various modern techniques and propagation methods to produce high quality fruit plants.
He also inspected INM/IPM practices being adopted by the farmers in their orchards. The expert interacted with the farmers and suggested them the latest technological interventions in the field of horticulture for improving production.
