Srinagar, July 20: Senior resistance leader and Jammu Kashmir National Front chairman, Nayeem Ahmad Khan soon after returning from New Delhi, convened a party meeting to discuss the overall situation of the disputed region.
Nayeem Khan while addressing the party office bearers and senior workers emphasised that India has activated its maximum institutions against the genuine resistance movement of Kashmiri people however the institutionalis
ed imperialism of India is sure to fail in front of the Azadi sentiment of the people of Kashmir.
Nayeem Khan was apprised of latest situation of the valley. Nayeem Khan also paid rich and glowing tributes to three Mujahideen, Shaheed Showket Ahmad Lohar, Shaheed Muzaffar Ahmad Hajam and Shaheed Nasir Ahmad who achieved martyrdom in an ambush in Islamabad (Anantnag) district,he also condemned the unproveked firing in bijbehara in which a civilian was shot dead by indian forces.
Later Nayeem Khan with a high level party delegation visited the residence of Tariq Ahmad Buch, the maternal uncle of Chairman Hurriyat Mirwaiz Umar Farooq at Bagwan Pora Lal Bazar to express condolence on his sad demise. He expressed deep sorrow and grief over the demise of Tariq Ahmad Buch.
Nayeem Khan while paying homage to deceased recalled him as a noble human being with multiple qualities. Nayeem Khan prayed for eternal peace of the deceased. He strongly condemned the detention of Mirwaiz Umar Farooq in order to stop him from offering funeral prayers (Nimaz-e-Janaza) of his uncle.
