    Fill reserved seats of PoK in J&K House to resolve Kashmir issue: RSS

    Dharamshala: Top leader of RSS ( Rashtriya Swaymsewak Sangh) Indresh Kumar known for his association with Muslim Rashtriya Manch (MRM) and other minorities in country has made a sweeping statement in an exclusive interview to TOI stating that Kashmir issue can only be resolved by giving the representation to the people of POK ( Pakistan Occupied Kashmir) in J&K assembly on reserved seats for them which are lying vacant at present.
    Indresh also remained in headlines during triple talak, he holds tasks to work with minorities and internal security matters in India on behalf of RSS. He was on a secret visit to this region on Thursday where he participated in special prayers with Tibetan monks and few Indian people at Guptganga area near here.
    Talking exclusively to this correspondent he said that he had worked for years in Kashmir and the reason that residents of POK have not adopted the nationality of Pakistan because they want to remain in an unified Kashmir under India.
    “People of POK want representation in J&K assembly for which MRM has already started a campaign. If state and center governments will fill these 24 reserved seats it will resolve Kashmir issue” he said adding that representation to POK people should also be given in legislative council where six seats are lying vacant for them.
    Youths of Kashmir on 9th August held a procession in Kupwara of Kashmir and have demanded the same thing as they don’t stones in hand but better education and Indian flag, he said. “On 22 February 1994 Indian Parliament has also passed a memorandum that issues with Pakistan were resolved and process to evacuate POK should start. Even British Parliament has also acknowledged that POK is part of India” he added.
    He further stated that if Pakistan will not give up enmity with India it would soon become a slave of China for which process is already undeway. “These are welcome steps taken by Indian government on Doklam issue. People of the country should also contribute by boycotting the purchase of Chinese products” he said.
    On internal security he said societies should not be divided in the name of untouchability and religion. “All religion leads a person to be a human being. Not violence, but dialogue is the resolution to everything” he said.
    In June this year, Indresh Kumar was a Chief Guest in an Iftar party in Jamia Milia Islamia University at Delhi organized by MRM where he said ‘meat is a disease’ and ‘triple talak is a sin’ which had kicked a debate in country.60025163
