Dhaka, Sept 21: At least nine people were killed and 10 others injured as a Red Crescent truck carrying relief materials for Rohingyas veered off a road in Bangladesh on Thursday, an official said.
The accident took place in Bandarban district, 316 km southeast of Dhaka. The truck went off the road and ended up in a ditch as the driver lost control of the steering, a Bangladesh Red Crescent Society official was quoted as saying by Xinhua news agency.
The victims were mostly labourers.
