Islamabad, Sept 22: Four people, including two women, were killed on Thursday in Indian troops firing along the Working Boundary (WB), Pakistan army said.
“Indian border security forces resorted to unprovoked firing of mortars targeting civilians along the Working Boundary in village Bini Sulariyan in Charwa Sector,” the ISPR statement said.
It said Pakistan Rangers befittingly responded on posts targeting the civilian population.
The Pakistan army statement said that four civilians, including two women were killed in the Indian troops firing.
There has been surge in border ceasefire violations along the International Border (IB) and Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu and Kashmir with Indian and Pakistani troops blaming each other for starting the ceasefire violations and resorting to unprovoked firing and mortar shelling.
