Srinagar, June 29: Deputy Commissioner Ganderbal Dr Piyush Singhla flagged off the first batch of yatris from Baltal base camp to holy cave for darshan. SSP Ganderbal Fayaz Ahmed Lone and other senior officials were present on the occasion.
A total number of 7500 pilgrims are scheduled to pay obeisance at holy cave today out of which 4500 pilgrims have left for holy cave till 9:30 am, adding that all the arrangements have been put in place for the smooth conduct of yatra, Singhla said.
