ABVP Jammu mahanagar today organised a a function to honour the Blood Donor” at Kargil Sabhagar, Ambphala in which Sh. Ramesh Arora (MLC,J&k) was the chief guest of the occasion Sh. Ashok Gupta (Director, ASL Tutorials)was the guest of honour Sh. Ishwar Sharad (ABVP State President, J&K)was the chief speaker. The programme was organised for honouring the donors of 23rd march ,2017 Blood Donation camp which was held outside jammu university in which more than 96 donors donated blood for which this programme was held. Speaking on the occasion Sh. Ishwar sharad emphasised on the role of ABVP in national upliftment and these types of programmes are being organised throughout the country, he further added that the youth of this country have been following the path of giving blood from ancient times whenever the country needs it, when Subash Chandra Bose asked for blood for getting independence the youth came in numbers for giving their life for the nation. In the same way the youth of this country who are willing to donate blood for the society are the youth who will give his blood when the nation needs it. Sh. Ramesh Arora mentioned few of the previous incidents when he used to work for ABVP in Punjab he also organised various such programmes, this shows the consistency of the organisation from past five decades.
Sh. Ashok Gupta While addressing the students opened the doors of his institute for the poor who need education for free and he praised ABVP for its enoumous contribution to the society. ABVP jammu mahanagar announced the further programmes in which it will start from the month of May onwards for the Percentage of Girl student in J&k, women parliament , save water campaign, etc. Welcome speech was given by Sh. Govind Sharma and Vote of thanks was given by Deepak Gupta.
