AIBCU welcome Hon’ble Prime Minister in the State

    OBSERVER BUREAU
    JAMMU, APRIL 01

Hon’ble Prime Minister Sh. Narinder Modi’s visit in Jammu on 2nd of April 2017 in connection with the inaugural function of the opening of Nashri-Chanani Tunnel has been warmly welcome by the union in a meeting held here under the Chairmanship of its president Jenab Abdul Majid Malik.
Besides the speakers and participants also reminded the Hon’ble Prime Minister of his made promises during 2014 parliamentary elections.
His first slogan was to implement Mandal Report in the state but three years of his Govt. at the Centre and about two years as the coalition partner in J&K State has gone; but neither you (Sh. Narinder Modi) nor any your State / Centre BJP leader has raised this issue.
P.M’s second slogan which is still on Channels /Newspapers is “Sabka Saath – Sabka Vikaas” But this slogan has been converted into Upper caste vikas as the Govt. formulations at the centre / JK state do not have any representation from among the OBCs and whenever MLCs are selected; OBCs called OSCs in J&K State are ignored.
Hon’ble Prime Minister also promised for OBC census in the country (C.M of Bihar Sh. Nitish Kumar requested and P.M accepted) but his (Modi) Govt. submitted an affidavit on the other day against this census in the Supreme Court. Pakistan in case of census has started census in Pakistan with categories. P.M Modi must show his courage for OBC census in the country. When dogs; plants, animals etc. are counted, then why not census of OBCs to which you (Shri Narinder Modi) also claim to be the member.
Union also condemned the cabinet decision of the BJP Govt. at Centre over Nation-Commission for Backward Classes. Instead of giving constitutional status; BJP Govt. has dissolved the Commission with repealing order of Ist August of 1993 to bring it under parliament which is a treacherous act. Speakers and participants appealed the Hon’ble Prime Minister to look into all what he did till date is all opposite to that what he promised with OBCs in the country in general and in J&K State in particular.
Besides the executive members; other prominents who shared their views were Jammu Province president Sandokh Chand, Sardar Rajinder Singh; Hm Sain Dass, Darshan Kumar, Ramesh Kashyap, K.D Dalmotra, M.R Bagotra (Rtd. CEO), Udhampur Distt. President Ramesh Chander, Prof. Kali Dass and many others.
