A lecture was conducted by the Army at Lower Krishna Ghati (LKG) with the aim of educating the students and youth about “Career Opportunities” after Class 12th and graduation. The speaker explained about the large number of job opportunities available within the State and other parts of the country in Government and Private Sector. Army offered assistance in terms of guidance to avail higher education and acquire skills required for available employment opportunities. The lecture was followed by an interactive session in which a number of career related queries were raised by the participants, were answered by the speaker in simple and effective manner. Large number of locals including school and college students, sarpanches and prominent members of the society from Lower Krishna Ghati (LKG) and surrounding villages attended the lecture with full zeal and enthusiasm. The audience were very appreciative of the information that was shared with them during the course of the lecture and found it beneficial and informative.
Such efforts will definitely go a long way in energising the young minds of remote areas in improving the society by enabling them to contribute towards development of the region.
