BHARAT KI BETI: Reasi Girl out shines in International championship

Jammu: 06-03-2021 Setting a benchmark of “BHARAT KI BETI” as advocated by Prime Minister of India for the Girls who excel in their respective field, Pihul Rajput, hailing from Karkiyal village of Katra tehsil in district Reasi of J&K Union Territory went to Indo-Nepal in the international stage and brought laurels to Jammu and Kashmir in a Kabbadi International Championship by clinching gold and silver medal in two different categories of Kabbadi & Weight lifting.
Hailing from hilly districts of Reasi in Jammu Pihul Rajput getting out of the village had achieved International prominence through her hard work and zeal excelled in sports  to become an inspiration for the daughters of entire Jammu & Kashmir.
It is worthwhile to mention here that Pihul Rajput had set an example for the parents also who want their daughter to scale new heights in different fields besides studies.
Indeed it’s a matter of pride and  joy for her family and also for everyone aspiring to achieve greater heights. The matter of fact is that girls of the villages have very less opportunities to scale such heights and compete at different levels including International. Her parents need big applaud too who encouraged their daughter to prove her worth.
Let us tell you that early education of Pihul Rajput started from a village Panthal, Amba Kids Home and after that she was educated at Government Higher Secondary School Panthal and now studying at Government Women’s Degree College Udhampur.
Talking with State Observer Correspondent Narinder Thakur she said that stadiums or coaches and facilities are available in urban areas, but the children of the village are deprived of all these facilities. She added that the children of the village have merit but due to lack of resources, the children are unable to show their ability, in such a situation.
There is no dearth of talent in rural areas too all it needed is proper infrastructure and the government should provide playgrounds or necessary items on the panchayat or block level so that the children of the village may show your their talents and dream of every child or parents can be realized.
