Jammu, March 11 : Taking strong exception to the move of the BJP-PDP government to adjust their party functionaries and workers, as heads of various PSE, in brazen violation of the Model Code Of Conduct, the party has formally approached the ECI to take appropriate action in the matter.
JKPCC Chief Spokesperson Sh. Ravinder Sharma has said that party has formally lodged a complaint with ECI over the government action appointing 16 of workers of ruling coalition (PDP-BJP)to the financially defunct bodies in clear violation of MLC. The CEO of JK has announced on March 8, that the two vacant LOk Sabha seats would go to polls and ECI would announce the dates in a couple of days. Next day the ECI notified the dates for polls to two Lok Sabha seats. Thus these appointments of political beings have been made in clear violation of MCC to influence the voters and affect the conducts and out come of polls. Hence party has sought appropriate action in the matter from ECI.

Sharma said that the coalition first tried to delay the by elections to Lok Sabha seats on the pretext of panchayat elections, when elections were announced the government has indulged in violation of MCC. He said the government has failed to provide wages to the daily/ Casual and need based workers and even regular employees, in time, but resorted to adjustment of their workers through backdoor, which is also aimed at defeating the spirit and mandate of the legislation which had restricted the size of the council of Ministers to maximum 25.
