Block Khoon Sarpanches, Panchas support strike of MGNREGA workers

Udhampur: Under the banner of All Jammu Kashmir MGNREGA Employees Association, the technical assistants and village employment assistants under the MGNREGA in Block Khoon have asked the government to make recruitment policy for them as well as to make them permanent. The sit-in demonstration continued. They raised slogans and demanded their right from the government and also demanded to make them permanent and make a recruitment policy for them as soon as possible. The JK UT young Convener Nirmal Kesar of All Jammu Kashmir panchayat conference on Monday  came in the support of employees of  MGNREGA and the sarpanch and panch of khoon Block on their demands. Nirmal Kesar said that MGNREGA employees also work day and night to implement various schemes of the Rural Development Department at the grassroots level. He appealed to the UT government and said that the government should take appropriate action regarding the future of MGNREGA workers and these people should be made permanent in the Rural Development Department.
