Srinagar, July 23: A Pakistani militant Abu Muawiya, who was killed during an encounter with government forces in south Kashmir’s Kulgam district on July 22, was buried in Baramulla last night, reports claimed.

Reports claimed that Muawiya, a Pakistani militant affiliated with Lashkar-e-Toiba (LeT) was buried at the martyrs’ graveyard in Gantamulla, Baramulla around midnight. Local sources said that slain’s body was shifted to police lines Baramulla from where it was handed over to the police station Sheeri for burial.
Muawiya was killed along with his two associates Suhail Ahmad and Mudassar Bhat of Kulgam, during an encounter in Redwani area of Kulgam district.
