JAMMU, MARCH 31: Sh. M.M. Joshi, Commissioner J&K Bharat Scouts and Guides Association called on Governor N. N. Vohra, Patron of the J&K Bharat Scouts and Guides Association, at the Raj Bhavan here.
Sh. Joshi briefed the Governor about the Scouts and Guides activities carried out by the Association in the past year and the programmes planned to be arranged in the coming months.
Governor observed that the Scouts and Guides movement, which imbues discipline and promotes balanced development of youth, needs to be systematically encouraged and supported by the State government and Society and called for strengthening and popularising the movement in all parts of the State, particularly the Ladakh region.
